For beginning portrait artists of all ages. I cannot help but like this book and is kind of a keepsake for me.

I had been fooling around with Corel Painter and Photoshop trying to draw and edit photos. I soon realized I had no drawing skills, knew nothing about color and values and anything else I needed. Sure I could run some filters and brush stokes but I wanted something original and something done by me. 

My sister tired of hearing me whine and complain went out and bought the book.

I looked at it and decided to read it although in my early fifties I didn't think I would have time or talent to learn.

 When I picked up a pencil and started applying what I had just read it literally changed my life.
